What was supposed to be a grand celebration is now turning into a big headache for Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli's Globetrotter team.
Over the past few days, social media has been flooded with posts claiming that entry to the Globetrotter event is open to everyone and that no passes are needed.
This false information has created a serious problem. The police have reportedly warned the organizers that if crowd management fails or the situation gets out of control, the event will be cancelled immediately.
Fans are eagerly waiting for the Globetrotter launch, scheduled for November 15 at Ramoji Film City. The event will include huge updates such as the official title and the first glimpse of the film. To address the confusion, Rajamouli himself released a short video message on social media. He said, "I am very excited to meet you all at the Globetrotter event on November 15. But please cooperate with the police and our security teams. We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience."
He made it clear that the event is not open to the general public. Only those holding official passes will be allowed inside. All passes include QR codes with instruction videos for directions. As per police orders, senior citizens and those under 18 will not be allowed entry.
Rajamouli further mentioned that the Police Commissioner personally warned him that even a small lapse in control could lead to the event being called off. "Please cooperate and help us make this a memorable evening," he said.
The Globetrotter launch is expected to host around 15,000 attendees, making it one of the largest film events in recent years. A massive 100-foot stage and a 130-foot LED screen have been built, reportedly among the biggest ever for an Indian film function.
For fans who cannot attend in person, the event will be streamed live on JioHotstar, which has acquired exclusive digital rights for the launch. Rajamouli added, "Please stay at home and enjoy the event live on Jio Hotstar."
Adding to the excitement, the evening will be hosted by Ashish Chanchlani and Suma Kanakala, while the entire cast, including Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, will be present.
As the big day approaches, the focus has shifted from the actual film to logistics. The organizers now face the difficult task of managing thousands of fans safely while keeping the event on schedule. The hope is that the celebrations go smoothly, without any off-screen chaos stealing the spotlight from one of the most anticipated events in Indian cinema.
