The viral clip is actually from an old interview given by Suman Mandanna to a Kannada news channel. In the interview, she spoke emotionally about the tensions that allegedly took place between the two families when Rashmika and Rakshit ended their engagement in 2018. According to her, disagreements between the families gradually escalated into arguments.
Suman Mandanna claimed that one of the issues was a demand from Rakshit's family that Rashmika should quit acting after marriage. She alleged that Rashmika was asked to publicly announce on social media that she would stop working in films once she got married.
