Real Reason Behind CSK, RCB, & MI Failure In IPL

Mirchi 9 1 year ago

The recent performance of IPL's most prominent teams, including Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, and Royal Challengers Bangalore, has left fans surprised and disappointed.

Mumbai Indians, usually a powerhouse, ended up at the bottom of the points table this season. CSK faced an early exit, with a visibly disappointed Dhoni leaving without shaking hands with the opposition team. RCB's journey ended in the playoffs, falling short of the title once again.

Numerous speculations are circulating regarding the reasons behind their lackluster performances, ranging from strategic failures to individual player form.

However, amidst these discussions, some stupid and irrational theories have emerged, particularly on social media.

One such theory propagated by a segment of overly zealous individuals revolves around religious beliefs.

According to them, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli were invited to the prestigious Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya. But all three failed to turn up. Even after 3 months none of them went and had darshan of Lord Rama in the Ayodhya temple.

They assert that by not paying homage to Lord Rama, these players brought upon themselves the wrath of Lord Rama, leading to their teams' downfall.

What's more irritating is the traction these baseless theories gain on social media, garnering thousands of likes and shares. However, such arguments quickly crumble when logically scrutinized.

For instance, Shreyas Iyer, who also didn't go to the Pran Pratishtha event, leads Kolkata Knight Riders, a team that has made it to the IPL final.

It's absurd to attribute sporting outcomes to religious actions. Associating success or failure in sports with adherence to religious practices not only lacks logic but also trivializes the essence of both sportsmanship and spirituality.

Furthermore, attempting to depict Lord Rama as a deity who punishes individuals for not attending religious ceremonies is not only erroneous but also disrespectful to the essence of Hinduism.

The fact that the Ambani family attended the event but their team still performed poorly shows that there's no direct link between religious attendance and sports success.

However, it is silly to even expect logic and reason from such people.
