Later, addressing the audience and media, Kavitha said it was KCR's political decidedness and farsightedness that led to the formation of Telangana.
She lauded the efforts and sacrifices put in by the Jagruthi members for the formation of the Telangana state.
She paid respects to all women who lost their sons during the movement. Kavitha hoisted the national flag and the Telangana Jagruthi flag at the newly opened Telangana Jagruthi office in Banjara Hills.
She expressed her happiness over hoisting the Telangana Jagruthi flag for the very first time. Kavitha also hurled a barb at CM Revanth Reddy saying that he is in a situation where he cannot say Jai Telangana.

It's the bad luck of Telangana people to have such a CM, said Kavitha. She said they were condemning the CM's attitude. It is an insult to Telangana freedom martyrs, said Kavitha.
Till the CM pays tribute to the martyrs, Telangana Jagruthi will keep the issue alive, she said. Meanwhile, they will bring to light the failings of the CM and the misuse of resources in Telangana, said Kavitha.
