The Telangana government has started the Hyderabad City Innovative Transformative Infrastructure (H-CITI) project. Three companies have come forward to build steel flyovers and underpasses around KBR Park.

As a part of Package 1, Jubilee Hills Checkpost, KBR Park Entrance Gate, Mugdha junction at Rs 580 crore and as a part of Package 2 at Jubilee Hills Rd No 45, Film Nagar, Maharaja Agrasen, Cancer Hospital, Rs 510 crore bids were invited on February 22, 2025. The deadline ended on Wednesday evening.

The municipal administration officials opened the boxes once the deadline ended. M Venkatarao (MVR), Megha Engineering & Infrastructure Limited (MEIL) and Nagarjuna Construction Company (NCC) submitted the bids.

The government is going to figure out if the companies have the capabilities to take up works. After that, names of two companies that have quoted less will be sent to Commissioner of Tenders (CoT). After CoT gives a green signal, the details will go to the government.

After the government's decision, they will come to an agreement with the agency. The whole process will take a month and half to two months. During this time, the GHMC has decided to procure properties around KBR Park for H-CITI.
