The dialogues establish Janardhana not as a regular rowdy. The final reveal of the name Rowdy Janardhana seals the film's intent loud and clear.

Ravi Kiran Kola uses the glimpse efficiently to establish the film's world. The setting, language, and staging point to lawlessness and survival through violence. The visuals are grounded, grim, and deliberately uncomfortable. The use of cuss words further enhances the raw approach and confirms that the film is leaning fully into its dark and aggressive space.

Producer Dil Raju openly acknowledged the film's violent nature at the launch, stating that he is adapting to current audience tastes. This marks a huge shift from his earlier image of making mostly family friendly films and shows a conscious decision to evolve with market trends.

At the same time, the glimpse has sparked comparisons with Nani's The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela. Fans have noted similarities in tone, color palette, aggressive dialogue delivery, and the familiar narrative. For many this overlap feels too obvious, especially in the way shock value is used through language and presentation. Whether this similarity is only surface level or runs deeper will be known only after the film's release.

While the glimpse has succeeded in grabbing attention, the deliberate use of strong cuss words and a visual tone close to The Paradise has opened the door to avoidable comparisons. Since The Paradise glimpse video created instant buzz largely because of its shocking cuss dialogue and raw presentation, repeating a similar strategy here feels unnecessary. Even if the intent was different, the resemblance distracts from Vijay Deverakonda's individuality as an actor.

This becomes more sensitive because of the long-standing social media toxic rivalry between Nani and Vijay Deverakonda fans. The similarity between the glimpses of both films has only added fuel to trolling from both sides.

It also puts unnecessary pressure on Rowdy Janardhana, which should ideally be judged on its own storytelling and execution rather than surface-level similarities.

That said, if director Ravi Kiran Kola can surprise audiences and deliver an intense narrative with clear originality, the chatter will eventually fade away. For Vijay Deverakonda, this film still holds real comeback potential. The content will decide everything.

The film is scheduled for a theatrical release in December 2026.
