Telugu Film Industry got startled when Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced there would no benefit shows and ticket price hike going forward.

The Chief Minister is very serious with the industry after the celebrities rallied to Allu Arjun's house after he was released from jail. He did not mince words to criticize them in the Assembly along with the actor.

Meanwhile, there is a new blow to the industry. It is rumored that the Government is contemplating canceling the previous G.O. that increased ticket prices to 175 Rupees (Single Screens) and 295 Rupees (Multiplexes).

If that is canceled, the ticket prices will go back to the pre-pandemic prices (Single Screens up to 125 Rupees and Multiplex around 150 Rupees).

Will Allu Arjun Get Arrested a Second Time?

This G.O. the government is rumored to be considering canceling was brought by the then KCR Government. The G.O. brought flexible pricing for the first time as the makers can increase or decrease the prices with the upper limit of 175 Rupees and 295 Rupees.

However, the filmmakers mostly opted for the upper limit.

The Film Chamber rubbishes those rumors and clarifies that they have no such information.

If this happens, the producers and buyers of big-budget films will be in deep trouble. Also, the theaters will have really tough time in surviving.
