As per the latest update, important fingerprint samples have been taken from the actor's house in Mumbai.
However, the fingerprints, which were also obtained by the Fingerprint Bureau of CID, did not match with Shariful Islam and Shahid Shabbir Sayyed, who are allegedly involved in the case.

According to the legal documents, a few of the prints were taken from the black bathroom door alongside the remaining ones developed on the sliding bedroom door and the cupboard door.
The fingerprints were additionally acquired from the wooden door, the marble, and the wall of the bathroom. However, these particular prints were not eligible for being investigated or used in any number since they did not feature any important details.

A report from the CID claimed that there was a single left palm print on another wooden door, and two more prints were taken from the wooden door of the ninth floor.
Although the chargesheet could not prove anything about the accused's alleged involvement in the case, the police claimed that they had enough evidence in the form of CCTV facial recognition, mobile location, and identification by the domestic staff working at the place.
