It's ironic that Sakshi and other YSRCP media outlets give more space to Nara Lokesh than to Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, even when trying to show him in poor light.
The latest example proves how far bias can go in news coverage.
During a Delhi press meet on Wednesday, Lokesh casually joked with Telugu journalists, saying the Telugu media session was already over and he wouldn't take questions in Telugu. His remark was made playfully, as part of a friendly exchange with reporters.
The event, held for the Partnership Summit, had separate sessions for national and Telugu media. Lokesh's tone was clearly light-hearted, but the YSRCP media twisted the story to claim he had insulted Telugu journalists and asked them to leave.
Reports also alleged that two women journalists were told to step out by the I&PR team, leading to embarrassment and a boycott of Lokesh's event. However, none of these claims stand up to evidence or logic.
