In a recent interview filmmaker Prashanth Neel has said something very stupid that has angered the fans of NTR Jr and rightfully so.
Neel said that he was disappointed with the performance of Salaar as he probably got a bit overconfident with the success of KGF. Now, to make it up, he is trying to put his hundred percent on Salaar 2.

He said that Salaar 2 is going to be his best work and it is one of the few things from his life that he is most confident of. But his upcoming movie is a much-anticipated action drama with NTR Jr as the lead.
NTR Jr fans are taking offence with the fact that he is not considering his movie with NTR to be as big as Salaar 2. This does not make any sense because at least Neel should mention his efforts for the movie for the sake of promotions.

Salaar was released with Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki and it hampered the business for both films otherwise there was a chance that it could have been as big as KGF. Prashanth Neel definitely wants the second part of the movie to be so.
But his choice of words will cost him too much. He could have said that he is doing his best with the NTR movie and will also make it up for Prabhas with the sequel for Salaar.
