Hyderabad roads becoming empty during Sankranthi is not anything new as Settlers especially those from Andhra Pradesh move back to their native for the festival.
But then, this Sankranthi has exposed the Ugly Side of a Section of the BRS Supporters once again. They have been hurling abuses on the Andhra people.

The abuses are horrendous to say the least. They are calling Andhra people as 'Kooli Na Kodukulu', 'Curry Points', etc.
This Side of the BRS Supporters is not anything new but then, it has been suppressed as long as the party is in power. But in the Opposition, it is coming back slowly.

However, this attitude will only become counterproductive for the party as the GHMC elections are round the corner and we will see the BRS bosses trying to impress the same people soon.
