On the other hand, Meiyazhagan's Telugu version, which is Satyam Sundaram, which was also released on the same day, is performing poorly at the Telugu box office as it's a dubbed version, and NTR's Pan Indian Devara was also released on the same day. Devara's mammoth performance crashed the Satyam Sundaram in the Box Office collections.
Even though Meiyazhagan acquired positive responses from Telugu audiences, the box office collections were very poor, and this made Tamil audiences angry.
During the Telugu promotions of Meiyazhagan, Karthi was asked about the Laddu, and he smiled and replied I won't speak about this and laughed. For this, Pawan Kalyan has responded that it's a sensitive issue, and Karthi is laughing at it.
