Notably, the actor was approached with a deal of Rs. 10 crores but he immediately refused the same and there was a specific reason.

According to a source, Anil feels that he has a huge responsibility as a popular face and endorsing such products that harm someone's health, irrespective of the money being offered to him.

Apart from Anil, actors like Kartik Aaryan and John Abraham have previously rejected similar deals. While Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan were a part of the ads for a long time, Akshay Kumar was slammed by the public when he started appearing in them.

On the other hand, the other three actors have never responded to the criticism emerging out of their decisions to accept such deals.
