KTR has launched a sharp attack on national leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of shamelessly backing defectors despite clear evidence.
KTR said such actions undermine democratic values.
KTR also alleged that Revanth Reddy is mocking the Constitution by violating established norms. He claimed the present actions reflect a complete disregard for constitutional procedures.
The Bharat Rashtra Samithi working president stated that the Speaker should have disqualified Kale Yadaiah and Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy. However, he alleged that political pressure prevented the disqualification process.
Taking to X, KTR said the Indian National Congress had once again shown how low it could stoop. He added that the same undemocratic forces that failed to disqualify five MLAs earlier were active again.
KTR claimed there were a crore proofs confirming the defection of the MLAs. He said stating that there was no proof was an insult to the Assembly and its authority.
He further accused the Congress of disrespecting not just the Constitution but also the highest courts. According to KTR, the party is now shivering to face by elections in the constituencies of the defecting MLAs after its panchayat poll performance.
