The director revealed that work on Indian 3 will commence once his upcoming film Game Changer is released. He further mentioned that discussions about the film's release date will take place after Game Changer hits theaters.

The release of Game Changer, however, has not been smooth. The producers of Indian 3 recently approached the Tamil Film Producers Council to stop the release of Game Changer, citing the unfinished work on Indian 3.
