Sharmila was addressing media in Chittoor on Monday evening. She said that speaking against capital Amaravati was shameful.
Sharmila said she will be happy if Jagan apologises for the way Amaravati women were spoken about.
Sharmila said that Sakshi newspaper and Sakshi TV forgot about people's issues and have become propaganda tools of YSRCP.
The AP Congress chief went on to say that Sakshi has made a name for itself in history as a media organisation that ignored people's issues.
On the other hand, Jagan backed his now arrested anchor KSR or Kommineni Srinivasa Rao saying that he was not responsible for comments made by a participant on the Sakshi channel.
Despite demands of an apology from Sakshi in-charge Bharathi Reddy, there is nothing but defeaning silence on that front. It is known that Bharathi Reddy supervises the running of Sakshi newspaper and television channel.
