Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film King has now got a better chance of becoming a blockbuster since Siddharth Anand has taken over the director's chair from Sujoy Ghosh.
Notably, Sujoy reportedly left the film around three weeks ago. The reason was the scale of King, which could not be handled by Sujoy and he spoke to Siddharth Anand to take the responsibility of completing the film on time.

The best part of this news is that Siddharth already serves as the producer and considering his track record, he is expected to present SRK in a different form this time, just like their previous collaboration, Pathaan.
Abhishek Bachchan is playing the main antagonist and SRK's daughter Suhana will be making her debut in a feature film. The filming process is starting in March next year, aiming for a release in 2026.

SRK had three releases last year, where Dunki received a mixed response compared to Pathaan and Jawan, which emerged as blockbusters.
It seems like SRK will not step down so easily. There will be a gap of almost three years until the release of King, which means that it would create enough excitement among the audience to line up outside the ticket counters.
