Bharathi Reddy is the Chairperson of Sakshi and it is no secret that she is overseeing all the Editorial Aspects of Sakshi.
It does not mean she made Journalist Krishnam Raju abuse the Amaravati Women.
But then, the Editorial Policy of a Paper or a TV is such that everything that happens there is the Management's Responsibility. It is the Legal and Moral Standard in the Media Industry.
When the Management is also involved in Politics, the responsibility becomes even bigger.
It's not about wringing our hands that we have nothing to do with it. Sakshi should have said sorry.
Ego or the venom they developed on Amaravati may have gotten in the way.
The criticism of why a channel with a lady as its chairperson gave a chance to such malicious comments is a big stain on Sakshi and Jagan's camp.
If Bharathi had released a note on the Paper and TV apologizing for the mistake unconditionally, her stature would have increased by multi-folds. And also Sakshi's.
Instead, Sakshi management chose to evade the responsibility. It has also made the matters worse for YSR Congress.
The Party claims that TDP and its allies are using the matter to divert the public's Attention from the real matters at hand. But if that is so, YSR Congress and Sakshi should blame themselves for giving them an opportunity.
