For the Telugu industry to remain vibrant, relevant, and commercially strong, a consistent stream of film releases is essential. Peak seasons like summer are being wasted without major tentpole films.

Meanwhile, Malayalam superstars like Mohanlal and Mammootty continue to lead by example. Mohanlal recently delivered two big hits-L2: Empuraan and Thudarum-within just two months.

Mammootty has been on a roll with back-to-back releases including Christopher, Kannur Squad, Bramayugam, Turbo, Dominic, and Bazooka.

Other leading names-Prithviraj Sukumaran, Fahadh Faasil, Dulquer Salmaan, Joju George, Kunchacko Boban, Basil Joseph, and Nivin Pauly-are also maintaining a steady output, working on multiple projects without extended gaps.

Their formula is simple yet effective: strong storytelling, budget-conscious filmmaking, and timely releases.

This practical, content-first approach is what makes Malayalam cinema consistently stand out-and it's a model the rest of the Indian film industry would do well to learn from.
