The success was definitely credited to stars like Raj Kumar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana but the most influential star to bewitch the fans was Shraddha Kapoor. Her role of chudail added the much needed eerie vibe.

However, the makers don't seem to give her the respect she deserves. In a recent interview Amar Kaushik had said that Shraddha was casted in the film because she laughs like a chudail.
Fans saw this as a clear insult to her talent and Amar received major backlash online. Shraddha and Amar recently appeared together in the Maddock Films' party where Shraddha seemed to jokingly confront Amar for his remarks.

The whole incident was light hearted but to fans it was a much needed blow to Amar. The director even remarked that he is most afraid of Shraddha's fans and their unwavering support for her.
