With two days left for release, trade experts are opening up on their expectations from Salman Khan's Sikandar. The trailer came out a week ago, which has managed to attract a certain section of the audience alongside a few others criticizing the same.

Popular critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh said that he is happy since Salman has tried something out of his comfort zone by choosing an experienced director like A.R. Murugadoss.

Ground Zero Teaser: Did Salman Commit a Mistake?

Taran stated that although Rashmika Mandanna, who is considered to be a lucky charm now after the success of Animal and Pushpa 2: The Rule, is also playing the female lead, everything will be dependent on the film's content. A similar opinion was also shared by Atul Mohan.

Atul also opened up on his expectations for the Day 1 collection, saying that it might accumulate somewhere between Rs. 40-45 crores.

Sikandar vs Jaat: Will Salman Spoil Sunny's Party?

However, the owner of Bihar-based Roopbani Cinema, Vishek Chauhan, said that the film might open with Rs. 25-30 crores since Eid falls on Monday.

Speaking about the film's potential to touch Rs. 100 crores, Taran Adarsh said that it is easy for someone like Salman Khan. However, he also mentioned that the superstar will face some pressure, adding that the collections need to be more than Rs. 100-200 crores.

Krrish 4 Shocker: Hrithik Gone Completely Crazy?

However, considering the occupancy recorded so far in terms of advance booking, Rs. 25-30 crores might be a tough job for Sikandar on the first day.

Based on that, the lifetime collection of the film might end with Rs. 200 crores, and it is not easy to touch Rs. 500 crores since the shows are not housefull.

But things might get better by the second day only if the word-of-mouth is positive and the film turns out to be better than Tubelight, Race 3, Radhe, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.

All of these are speculations for now, and the public response on Sunday will decide the fate of the film.
