With a slow entry into the box office Sikandar has failed the expectations of fans and distributors alike. Early reviews have clearly stated that the film has a disaster plot and Salman Khan offers no charm.
Salman looks lethargic and there is no depth in his acting. Rashmika Mandanna as always plays an ornamental role in the script.

But makers are now trying to blame it on the pirated HD leak of Sikandar. IMMPA has also condemned the piracy of the film as they call it a threat to creativity and many agree that the culprits should be harshly punished.
Yet Salman's track record at the box office is now blurred with disaster after disaster and this can't be blamed on piracy alone. Films like Pathaan, Chhaava, Pushpa 2 and many others were leaked before the release but that didn't stop them from pulling the crowd and becoming blockbusters.
