It's been more than a week since Salman Khan's Sikandar was released on the big screen. While it was expected to mark a big bounce-back for Salman Khan, the film failed to live up to the expectations in terms of content and box office collection.
Mumbai-based G7 Multiplex owner Manoj Desai, who has been supporting Salman's films over the years, recently appeared for an interview, saying that he spoke to Salman after the film arrived in theatres.

Manoj mentioned that Salman tried a lot of things after Wanted, which turned out to be successful and were accepted by the audience at the same time.

In the case of Sikandar, it is clear that director A.R. Murugadoss tried to create emotional moments.
Unfortunately, the emotions were not intense and strong enough, and audiences seemingly gave up on the film before they could get to the emotions because there were no entertaining factors.
Salman's fans are frequently asking him to choose better scripts. Sikandar's failure should be a learning lesson for Salman now, and it is the right time to revisit the good films that he has done in the past and learn about the kind of films that can satisfy his fans.
