The trailer for Salman Khan's highly-anticipated film 'Sikandar' has finally been out, becoming the talk of the day among the masses.
The trailer was received in a mixed way by the audience, garnering 48 million views in the first 24 hours, cementing its place among the top 10 most-viewed Bollywood trailers on YouTube.

Although it has created some buzz in the cinema space, it has still fallen short of beating SRK's 'Dunki' and Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal', trailers of both of which have garnered 58.5 million and 50.6 million views on YouTube respectively.
A similar trend can be seen with the BMS interest count, where Sikandar's count has increased by 20.1k as compared to Jawan's 93k.

While the trailer has revealed some parts of the storyline, generating a mixed bag of opinions, fans of Salman Khan are hoping that the film turns out better than the trailer.
It is also a well-documented fact that the success of trailers has no guarantee towards the success of the films.
Sikandar: Salman Ruining Films for His Friends?
Dunki's trailer garnered 12.9 million views more than Jawan in the first 24 hours on YouTube. Still, Dunki's collection bottlenecked at Rs.200 Crores, while Jawan managed a massive Rs.600 Cr. collection.
With the trailer turning out to be passable, it will be interesting to see how well the film performs as it gears up for release on March 30th, 2025.
