The AP government is gearing up to receive Prime Minister Modi on May 2. Modi will be in Amaravati to restart the development work of the capital.

Though the tour is on, there is a small change in programme. Due to the recent Pahalgam attack, the Prime Minister's road show has been cancelled. Instead, Modi will wave from his car.

A huge meeting is being organized which will see 5 lakh people. The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) is overseeing the orginisation of the programme.

Three helipads will be readied apart from the existing one. Parking lots are also being provided depending on the routes people reach the venue.
