Spirit is one of the most anticipated pan-India films from Tollywood, generating massive excitement among fans and within the trade. The high-octane action entertainer marks the first collaboration between Prabhas and blockbuster filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, whose back-to-back hits Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh, and Animal have set towering expectations.
Pre-production work for Spirit has been completed, and the regular shoot is expected to begin by the end of November 2025. According to reports, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is planning to shoot the interval sequence first, and an extravagant set has been built for it. Peter Heins will choreograph this high-voltage action scene.
The film features a powerhouse cast. Triptii Dimri plays the female lead, while seasoned actors Prakash Raj and Kanchana appear in pivotal roles. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has been cast as the main antagonist, and Korean action star Don Lee is expected, though not yet confirmed, to make a special cameo appearance that will bring an international touch to the film's canvas.
Adding to the buzz, Tollywood circles are now discussing the possibility of Abhiram Daggubati joining the cast. Reports suggest that Sandeep Reddy Vanga has approached him for a crucial role described as arrogant, intense, and brimming with attitude. This part could easily become one of the film's standout elements. However, there has been no official confirmation yet.
For Abhiram, who made his debut with Ahimsa, Spirit could be a career-defining opportunity. After the disastrous response to his first film, this project may offer him the perfect platform to make an impact and prove his potential as an actor, especially under a director known for bringing out raw, emotional, and powerful performances.
With Prabhas leading the charge, Sandeep Reddy Vanga's intense storytelling, and a cast that blends experience, glamour, and international appeal, Spirit is shaping up to be one of the biggest cinematic events to look forward to in 2025. The expectations are sky-high, and if early reports are anything to go by, this could very well be Prabhas' biggest film since Baahubali.
