Mahesh Babu's next film with S.S. Rajamouli, tentatively titled SSMB29, has secretly entered production. Rajamouli is planning to bring a different kind of experience this time for viewers compared to what people saw in his previous films.

A report has claimed that Rajamouli has used VFX to recreate Varanasi, specifically the popular Manikarnika Ghat for his upcoming film. The grand set is expected to start building soon and it is supposed to be an important part of the attention-grabbing moments throughout the film.

The shooting reportedly started at the Hyderabad-based Aluminium Factory and apart from all these, nothing much has been disclosed so far. Notably, Rajamouli has opted to maintain heavy secrecy this time and keep everything for the trailer and the big screen.

Priyanka Chopra, who portrays the female lead, is receiving Rs. 30 crores as fees for her appearance and she had reportedly taken a break from the film's shooting to attend her brother's wedding in Mumbai.

Dark Horse of 2025: Box Office Surprise Loading?

The film is supposed to be a jungle-adventure and the makers have not revealed much about the basic premise until now. But considering Rajamouli's work over the years, it seems like it will feature a lot of action and some amazing shots that would be remembered forever.

While it is not confirmed if the film will be released in Hindi, Priyanka Chopra's casting is expected to contribute to its success, specifically because of the actress' huge fanbase in the international market. Furthermore, everyone is willing to catch a glimpse of Priyanka in an Indian film after a long time.

The film's budget is reported to be around 1,000 crores. Now it remains to be seen if the overall box office collection can break the record set by Rajamouli's previous film RRR, which grossed almost Rs. 1,387 crores.
