The crew is scheduled to head to Tanzania on August 15 for a month long schedule focusing on grand action and jungle scenes. Initially, Kenya was chosen for filming in July, but political unrest led to a change in plans. South Africa was also considered but dropped due to logistical constraints. Tanzania was finalised as its ancient landscapes perfectly match the film's timeless and otherworldly atmosphere.
The shooting is expected to finish by mid 2026, with Gen 63 planned for a worldwide theatrical release in the summer of 2027.
