Ajay Devgn finally saved a dull Box Office streak with Singham Again. His films like Auron Mein Kaha Dum Tha and Maidan were absolute flops, and he really needed a project to undo the dull spell.

Although Singham Again earned an impressive 65 crore with its opening, it still gained a lot of criticism. Many found it illogical and cringe, to top it off Ajay Devgan seems to have lost his aura as Singham.

The film heavily relied upon the star appeal of exciting cameos. Celebs like Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor added to the power punch of the film.

Other than this, it seems Ajay Devgan is going to rely on sequels heavily in the future. He has a dazzling line up of sequels - but is it really fair for a star to depend upon the recall factor and not produce anything new?

Films like De De Pyaar De 2, Raid 2, Son of Sardar 2 and now Shaitaan 2 are also officially announced for a sequel. It would be interesting to see if these films would do any well and have some critical value in them.
