Director Sujeeth has once again proved his technical strength with Pawan Kalyan's OG. Despite the film delivering mixed commercial results across regions, there is clear and unanimous appreciation for the way he pulled off a slick, technically strong project, especially while working within the constraints of Pawan Kalyan's limited dates.
However, when you look at Sujeeth's career as a whole, the inconsistency stands out.
The gaps between his films are hard to ignore and point to a lack of planning. After Run Raja Run, there was a solid five year gap before Saaho.
Then another six year gap before OG. Even now, after OG, he is yet to begin his next project.
His upcoming film with Nani, Bloody Romeo, has already been officially launched. But Nani is currently busy with Srikanth Odela's The Paradise, which means Sujeeth is once again in a waiting phase.
While this may not turn into another multi year delay since the project is already announced, the pattern of gaps between films continues.
The reality is simple. No director can become mainstream or truly bankable without consistent output.
Looking back, Sujeeth's filmography is very limited. There are too few films, and too little body of work, to create an impact among audiences and the media.
If Sujeeth wants to establish himself as a mainstream director, he needs to prioritize continuity.
A director's strength lies not just in making one impressive film, but in maintaining a steady presence through regular releases. Waiting endlessly for stars is not a sustainable strategy. Stars will always have their own timelines, but a director's growth depends on staying visible and consistently delivering work.
