After the failure of Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan is preparing to bounce back with Sitaare Zameen Par next year. The film is currently in the filming stages and is a prequel to the cult classic, Taare Zameen Par.

Helmed by R.S. Prasanna, the film is scheduled to hit the big screen on Christmas next year. It also features Darsheel Safary and Genelia Deshmukh among the leads.

In his recent interview, Aamir opened up about the upcoming project, describing it as a "beautiful story", which will make everyone emotional. He further stated the theme would be similar to the previous film and audiences are going to feel the humor alongside the emotions.

Aamir also mentioned, "In many ways I feel it's way ahead of Taare Zameen Par because in the film, the person who was with the challenge in the film, who was Ishaan, was helped by my character."

Aamir said that the film would be different since his character would be helped by 10 more people with challenges.

Aamir's statement has hinted that the film will bring a different kind of experience for the audience, and it is reportedly based on the Spanish sports comedy-drama, Champions.

Aamir has struggled to deliver a hit for the last six years. It seems like choosing Thugs of Hindostan brought bad luck for the superstar.

But considering the current situation, Aamir is not overexposed like many other actors which should help in the success of Sitaare Zameen Par.
