In this scenario, as a part of Kanguva's promotion, Suriya is giving interviews to YouTube channels. In one of the interviews, the anchor of the show asked Suriya that despite Meiyazhagan's positive responses, it just ended up as an average one in the theatrical run. What are his views on it?

For this, Suriya has responded that he is happy to produce such a gem of a movie that deals with core human emotions, and he produced Meiyazhagan to create an art and not for collection.

Also, he mentioned that, end of the day, I'm the producer, and I know whether Meiyazhagan was a theatrical hit or not, and it has given me almost 25% of the profit when I just expected 10% of the profit before the release.
