The teaser of the much-awaited Toxic starring Rocking Star Yash is out. It is the first real glimpse at the movie's actual content, and one must say it's sensational.
It ups the ante as far as action genre and visuals are concerned.
The Toxic teaser instantly grabs attention, whether one likes it or not. It's due to the terrific visuals and the overall setting that screams freshness within an action setup. The action-filled film might not be new, but the setting and the visuals have that appealing quality.
Another important thing of note here is that there seems to be more to the movie than mere style. The content promises some story, and that too without revealing much. We haven't seen anything of the heroines who are also part of the film.
Yash is obviously the main draw. He is continuing his KGF form. Some might feel he is still in the KGF hangover, but that doesn't look like a problem right now. At least with the teaser.
Geetu Mohandas directs Toxic. A lot depends on how she has executed the story. There is surely a big screen appeal and also the grittiness despite the larger-than-life appeal. It is a difficult balance to achieve, and if she manages that, Toxic might be a winner. However, we have to wait until the trailer to make a better judgment, though.
Toxic is clashing with the most-awaited Dhurandhar 2. The teaser promises that it is ready for it and won't be a pushover. Toxic hits the screens worldwide on March 19, for Ugadi and Eid weekend. Its the best date possible for release. Let's see if the movie delivers.
