Now, in a recent interview, Venkat Prabhu has opened up about the initial idea of The GOAT movie, which is now trending on social media, with people sharing their responses to it.

Venkat Prabhu has said that, initially, after completing the script of The GOAT movie, he narrated it to Rajinikanth, and Rajinikanth also liked the idea of the movie.
Also, the younger Vijay character in the movie was initially planned for Dhanush, but somehow it didn't materialize. However, when he narrated the script to Vijay, Vijay liked the script very much, and the project was taken off immediately, says Venkat Prabhu.

Additionally, he also mentioned that Dhanush's character in the movie was initially written as a Muslim character.
For this, many people on social media shared their responses, mentioning that if the initial idea of Rajinikanth and Dhanush had happened, it would have been a bigger blockbuster than Vijay's version.
