This Senior Minister Of AP Feeling Pressure Due To His Colleagues?
We have seen the ministers and leaders of the YSR Congress speak so casually about Amara Raja leaving Andhra Pradesh. In a press meet, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, the advisor to Andhra Pradesh Government casually said Amara Raja is not leaving Andhra Pradesh but the state government itself has asked it to.
Minister Botsa Satyanarayana said Amara Raja is leaving AP as they are offered more incentives elsewhere. The very simple responses about an investment worth 1000s of Crores and around 20,000 employment are truly shocking. But another minister, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, however, responded with caution on this issue.
"I have no idea about the issue. If I need to talk, I should say what I came to know from the media. Opposition is trying to damage the government politically with this issue. The factory can relocate near to Chittoor taking 4000-5000 acres from the Government (if pollution is an issue)," Peddireddy said.
Peddireddy is a minister from Chittoor and is aware of how 1000s of families are employed in Amara Raja. He can not casually talk about the industry like other leaders who are outside the district. The industry if shifted out of the district will affect party prospects in the entire district, Peddireddy knows. But he should come how rein his colleagues and change the mind of the Chief Minister.
