The clash between Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was one of the most-awaited competitions audiences were waiting to witness on the big screen.

However, things turned out to be a little bit different when they were released on Diwali.

Upcoming Star Mocks Superstars After BO Win!

With a humongous budget, Singham Again has reportedly become a semi-hit despite getting positive feedback on the single screens. On the other hand, the response to BB3 was better considering the money invested.

However, trade analysts were shocked to see that a multi-starrer like Singham Again could not surpass BB3 in any manner.

Hot Actress in Love with Popular Cricketer?

This was surprising considering that Rohit's Golmaal franchise has always been successful despite featuring multiple popular faces among the leads.

Apart from Ajay Devgn, Singham Again also had Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and many others. But this still did not help it to become a mega blockbuster.

Naga Chaitanya-Sobhita Wedding: Exciting Details

The reason behind Singham Again failing to take over BB3 remains a mystery. It is possible that the film's content was not as perfect as per expectations and the climax was not so grand compared to the previous installment of The Cop Universe, Sooryavanshi.

Another reason could be the inclusion of multiple stars which was not acceptable for a section of the audience considering that the main attention should be given to Ajay's Singham.

Rohit had previously faced this situation around nine years ago when Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani were released on the same day. While the former took a better opening, the response improved towards the latter at one point.

Back in 2009, Rohit's All The Best clashed with Main Aur Mrs. Khanna and Blue. Notably, the situation was different as the other two films turned out to be a big disappointment at the box office.

Directors like Rohit need to understand that audiences don't want to see similar themes of terrorism on repeat mode. Even though Singham Again had everything to satisfy the public, it was falling short of a few things.
