After hearing several stories and meeting multiple directors, Yash finally joined hands with Malayalam filmmaker Geetu Mohandas for a film titled Toxic. The project has been in production for quite some time and is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.
So far, only a short teaser from Toxic has been released and it has received mixed reactions. Fans were not fully impressed, with some questioning whether a female director could effectively present Yash's powerful mass image.
Reports also suggest that Toxic went through multiple reshoots, hinting at creative differences. Industry rumours claim that Yash himself stepped in to supervise portions of the direction after being dissatisfied with the progress.
These delays have reportedly pushed the production cost well beyond the initial budget, adding to the growing tension around the project.
Despite the uncertainty, fans remain optimistic. They believe Toxic will showcase Yash in a raw, intense new avatar. For him, this film is not just another release it's a defining moment to prove that his superstardom after KGF was no fluke.
