Trade Declares SRK's Blockbusters Clean & Organic

Corporate booking continues to remain a common topic for debate, specifically for big films. Pathaan and Jawan have been targeted in the past based on the same.

Journalists Himesh Mankad of Pinkvilla, alongside Mayank Shekhar of Hindustan Times and Rohit Khilnani of Bollywood Hungama, appeared for a discussion together to address the issue of corporate booking.

Himesh said during the conversation that Pathaan was not involved in any kind of self-buying methods. He further stated that the same thing also applies to Jawan, adding that it is impossible to create a blockbuster that has collected Rs. 500 crores.

Himesh also mentioned that he watched both the films thrice in theatres and they were housefull. He said that when he went to watch Jawan for the first time, it was around 7 a.m.

Mayank Shekhar also agreed to the same by saying that he witnessed a board outside a theatre reading Shah Rukh Khan Fans Association and that this cannot be described as self-buying.

Rohit claimed that he has faith in SRK's fans and that he can easily make Rs. 500 crores without the help of corporate booking. Himesh additionally mentioned that both the films are clean and the topic of corporate booking is something that is being used in fan wars.
