Ram Charan, who has been aggressively promoting Peddi across India, sat down with Janhvi Kapoor for a series of one-on-one interviews with the national media.
During one such interview, he faced a couple of weird rather unusual questions from the interviewer.
The first question was about Upasana.
The interviewer said she had read somewhere that Upasana runs their marriage like a CEO, conducting quarterly reviews, and asked Ram Charan if that was true.
Charan quickly dismissed the question.
"Not at all," he said, explaining that an actor's life is highly unpredictable, making it impossible to plan things so systematically, let alone conduct reviews.
In the very same interview, the interviewer posed another puzzling question.
She asked Charan about the alleged "vulgarity controversy" surrounding Shruti Haasan's song.
The problem was that there has been no such controversy around the song itself.
The interviewer appeared to be confusing it with the separate controversy over certain double-meaning lyrics in Chikiri song which later drew attention and were reportedly removed by the censor board.
In both instances, Ram Charan maintained his composure and answered patiently.
However, for viewers, the questions came across as awkward and unnecessarily confusing.
