Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel, was released in theatres on October 10th and has acquired mixed responses from audiences and critics.

Even though the movie has many star-studded actors and also super stars from different industries, the weak screenplay in the movie has ended up making the movie an average one.

Initially, there were speculations that during the beginning shooting stages of Vettaiyan, TJ Gnanavel had tried to rope in Nani for a crucial role in this movie, but Nani didn't want to act in the movie.

Now this news was trending on social media and audiences were mentioning that Nani had made a good decision by not acting in the Vettaiyan movie as except for Rajinikanth, there wasn't any scope for other Superstar actors in the movie.

Even the senior actor Amitabh Bachchan's role and also Rana Daggubati's typical corporate villain role was wasted in the movie; it looked like the team used star actors only for the collection of the movie without any purpose or weightage for their roles, says the audience after watching Vettaiyan.

Fahadh Faasil's role as a battery in this movie was only the exception as it was slightly better compared to other Superstars roles in this movie, but even his role failed to make an impact in this movie.

It looks like Nani is more conscious of his acting career and not willing to act in supporting roles and also the roles that don't have any purpose in Super Stars movies.
