For this, TJ Gnanavel has replied that he is excited to do a prequel but not planning to do a sequel as he wants to explore more about the Athiyan character, which was played by Rajinikanth, and how he has evolved into an encounter specialist.
Also, he mentioned that he would like to explore more with Fahad Faasil's character Battery and how he evolved from being a thief to a police informant if he directs the prequel of this movie, Vettaiyan.
