He earned massive popularity with Arjun Reddy and that film gave him a unique identity in the industry. Later, he delivered another blockbuster with Geetha Govindam. That success officially pushed him into the list of star heroes.

After that, he continued receiving big and exciting projects. However, success did not follow him the same way. Films like Dear Comrade, World Famous Lover, Liger, Kushi, Family Star and Kingdom failed to repeat the same magic at the box office.

Currently, he has two films in hand. One is titled Rowdy Janardhan directed by Ravi Kiran Kola. The second one is a pan India film directed by Rahul Sankrityan. Both films are different from each other. One has a raw and rustic tone. The other is designed as a period drama. Because of their potential, Vijay has set high expectations for both projects and is working harder than ever.

Recently, Vijay shared an interesting update on social media. He wrote, "For the first time in my career, I am shooting two films at the same time. Both films demand a lot from me. The makers are torturing me and pushing me to my limits."

Vijay also posted a surprise video where he spoke about his hectic schedule. He showed glimpses of his new Rolex watch, Rowdy Wear clothing collection, gym workouts and even AI powered gadgets.
