This has created strong political buzz.

There is talk in political circles that the BJP is tightening pressure on Vijay. They believe an alliance with him could help them enter Tamil Nadu. The state has been hard for them to crack so far.

If Vijay has to blame anyone for this situation, it is himself. The case was earlier handled by a High Court appointed team. Vijay pushed for a CBI probe without fully judging the consequences.

He believed the DMK government would influence the earlier investigation. In doing so, he underestimated the BJP. This decision has now changed the entire course of the case.

The Tamil Nadu government would have acted with caution. Any action against Vijay could have been seen as political revenge. Even an unfavourable report would have been painted that way by his party.

A CBI probe changes that equation. The BJP has little to lose in Tamil Nadu. The party failed to win any seat in the recent Lok Sabha elections.

Because of this, the CBI is unlikely to go soft. It may not show sympathy unless Vijay strikes a political deal. This puts him in a very difficult position.

If the outcome goes against him, other Dravidian parties will use it to attack Vijay and TVK. This could weaken his position ahead of elections. The pressure on him is only increasing.

Many believe Vijay made a serious mistake by asking for a CBI investigation. The move has backfired. It has also exposed him to forces he cannot control.

Now the big question is whether Vijay will stand firm. He has to face intense pressure. His next move could decide his political future.

If Vijay aligns with the BJP, TVK may suffer badly. Tamil Nadu voters have a strong dislike for the saffron party. Such a move could cost him public support.

Tamil Nadu Assembly elections are expected this summer. The current Assembly term ends on May 10, 2026. The Election Commission must complete the polls and form a new government before that.
