In the video, the businessman can be heard instructing the driver to slap himself harder. When the slaps were too soft, the entrepreneur even asked the bouncer present there to deliver a harsher slap.
Although the entrepreneur's face is not visible in the footage, his voice can clearly be heard. The incident reportedly took place at the entrepreneur's office located on Bhopa Road.
The driver, identified as Manoj Yadav from Kanpur Dehat, was allegedly forced to slap himself around 20 times. When he paused, the businessman is heard saying that he had not yet found peace of mind. Abusive language is also heard throughout the video.

The conflict appears to have stemmed from a leave request. Manoj claimed that he had borrowed ten thousand rupees from the entrepreneur due to his grandfather's illness and had requested time off. Instead, he was summoned and humiliated.
The viral video drew strong condemnation from the All Driver Welfare Association. District President Prince Yadav said such behavior is completely unacceptable and promised to meet with the District Magistrate and SSP to demand action.
Meanwhile, New Mandi police have taken note of the video and begun investigating. Station in-charge Dinesh Chand Baghel stated that no formal complaint has been received yet, but appropriate action will be taken once it is.
