The court allowed her two weeks to file it. The trial court must decide within eight weeks.
If the investigation is complete, a chargesheet naming the accused and motives should follow. The roles of MP Avinash Reddy and Jagan Mohan Reddy have neither been established nor ruled out. Until this is clarified, the probe cannot be considered complete.
The Supreme Court should have questioned the CBI more firmly on this contradiction. Further investigation should depend on the CBI's answers, not just the petitioner's request. For now, all eyes are on the trial court once YS Sunitha files her petition.
