The year 2026 is shaping up to be a memorable one for Megastar Chiranjeevi's fans. Two of his films Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu releasing in January, and Vishwambhara scheduled for a summer 2026 release are already confirmed, making the first half of the year a double treat.
After a gap of nearly two and a half years without a release, Chiranjeevi's back-to-back films have created huge anticipation among his fans.

However, industry circles are abuzz with speculation about a third film possibly releasing by the end of 2026. Reports suggest that director Bobby and KVN Productions are planning a big-budget action drama eyeing a December 2026 slot.
While the idea excites fans, trade insiders believe it's unlikely. After Bholaa Shankar's underwhelming performance, Chiranjeevi has become more selective with projects and schedules. Unlike actors such as Ravi Teja or Akshay Kumar, he is not keen on taking up multiple films in a single year.
Analysts even compared it to Shah Rukh Khan's 2023 run where Pathaan and Jawan were massive hits, but Dunki failed to make a similar impact due to an overcrowded release calendar.
Sources reveal that Bobby's upcoming gangster drama will involve large-scale action, lengthy shooting schedules, and heavy post-production work. Hence, the team has reportedly chosen not to rush or lock a release date prematurely.
Looking at the production timeline, the Chiranjeevi-Bobby film is expected to arrive only in 2027. The last time Chiranjeevi had two releases in a single year was back in 2005, with Andarivaadu and Jai Chiranjeeva, both of which failed to meet expectations.
So, while fans dream of a triple-release year, all signs point toward a more balanced and carefully planned schedule for the Megastar.
