Revanth Reddy belongs to the same community as Jagan. Also, he may think that troubling Jagan would invite the ire of the Reddy Community present in Telangana as well.
There may be pressure on him from some Congress leaders to spare Jagan.
Jagan Mohan Reddy is not a Political Rival of Revanth Reddy.
It will all boil down to him thinking whether acting on Jagan is really necessary.
To get the support of the Central Home Ministry if needed, Jagan addressed Kishan Reddy as 'Naa Mithrudu' in his Birthday message recently. Kishan Reddy is the MoS of Home Affairs.
The Union Home Secretary should give Permission to tap a Phone if necessary by the State Police. So, legally, the Union Home Ministry will play an important role in this case.
