Kalvakuntla Kavitha said her focus is to make Telangana Jagruthi a model in Indian politics. In London, she told NRIs that the organisation is working for a social Telangana and will continue to strengthen its role.
She stated that she will launch a political party when the right time comes and when people demand it. Kavitha said she already knows the changes she wants to bring. Elections are three and a half years away, and many things can change before then.
Kavitha clarified that no political party is backing her. She called Congress a sinking ship and said BJP does not fit her DNA. She also reminded that she worked with BRS for 20 years and stood by the party despite insults.
She spoke about the conspiracies that led from her loss to BRS's defeat in Assembly elections. Kavitha said she never wanted a split in the party but had no choice. After leaving BRS, she believes it is her duty to speak the truth.
Kavitha added that her resignation was forced by others' behaviour. As KCR's daughter, she chose her own path. She said her time in jail changed her completely. According to her, everyone who fought for Telangana must unite.
In the end, Kavitha hinted at starting a new party. However, she stressed that she will wait for the right time before making any final move.
