The AP High Court has struck down Vallabhaneni Vamsi's bail petition as was reported in the morning. The High Court asked Vamsi to approach a lower court for bail.
The lawyer on Vamsi's side Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy has said that Vamsi had stated that he knew nothing about what happened on the day of attack, in Court. The lawyer said Vamsi denied knowing about Satyavardhan's issue either.

As the Court has prohibited third degree, as Vamsi denied any knowledge in the case, as Vamsi filed an affidavit, there was no need for Vamsi to be given for custody, said Reddy. He said they presented several rulings of the past to back up their argument.
However, the police argued that Vamsi's custody is necessary for scene reconstruction.
