Former minister and BRS leader Harish Rao said he does not fear arrest. He stated that BRS leaders were Telangana movement fighters who would not be intimidated by threats or conspiracies from the ruling party.
Harish Rao said they were the ones who fought for the formation of Telangana state. He added that such leaders cannot be weakened through pressure tactics.
He criticised the Telangana government for leaking information about phone tapping and Formula e-Racing cases. He said these issues surface only when the government finds itself in an uncomfortable position.
Harish Rao alleged that the government uses these cases as diversion tactics. He said that the government is threatening to issue notices in the phone tapping case after Assembly sessions.
He called the SIT probing the case a joke. Harish Rao said they are noting the names of police officers filing cases to please Revanth Reddy.
He warned that such officers would face the same fate as officers in Andhra Pradesh. Harish Rao stated that if he is arrested, he will work even more aggressively.
He said over 300 cases were filed against him during the Telangana movement period. He added that such threats do not scare him.
Harish Rao claimed that neither the Chief Minister nor ministers were able to answer issues raised by KCR. He said the ruling party is currently in self-protection mode.
He remarked that in his 25 years of political life, he has never seen a CM interacting with media at 9.30 pm. He said six ministers held press conferences only due to KCR's influence.
Harish Rao alleged that after BRS won around 4000 sarpanch seats, Revanth Reddy became fearful. He accused the government of avoiding cooperative elections and nominating Congress workers.
He demanded that Assembly sessions be held for at least 15 days to discuss key issues. While welcoming the government's PPT on water issues, he insisted BRS must be allowed to present its own PPT.
Harish Rao said the opposition is being given less time than CPI, MIM, and the BJP. He called this unfair and undemocratic.
He alleged plans to split GHMC into three parts and raise Rs 30,000 crore as loans. He claimed Bhatti and Uttam Kumar took Rs 7000 crore in the name of irrigation projects.
Harish Rao questioned the government's claim of maximum Krishna river water usage. He said only 28.49% water was used since 2023.
He accused Uttam Kumar Reddy of committing a major mistake by stating that 45 TMC of water was sufficient for Telangana.
